Zadar Directory is the independent online guide to Zadar and its coast, covering restaurants, accommodation, attractions, transport, activities, beaches and services across the Old Town, Varos, Kolovare, Borik, Puntamika and out to Nin. The directory is built and maintained by people who actually walk the peninsula, ride the city buses and take the island ferries.
Independent of every operator
We do not take commission from boat-tour agents, hotel groups, restaurant owners or booking platforms. No agency owns a slot on this site. The 'Featured' badge a business can buy is clearly marked, and the editorial recommendations sit alongside it on the same page so a visitor can read both and choose. The judgment behind every listing comes from on-the-ground checks: a meal eaten, a transfer booked, a kayak hired, a church visited.
Updated against Zadar's seasonal rhythm
Zadar moves on a tight calendar. Boat operators reopen through April, cruise calls build from May, restaurants hit full strength by June, and a good share of beach venues close from November to March while the Old Town and the mainland districts carry the winter. We refresh listings ahead of each shoulder season, confirm hours with owners before peak weekends, and remove operators that have stopped returning calls. get in touch.
