Around Zadar

From the walled Old Town out to Borik, Kolovare, the ferry port at Gazenica and the sand at Nin.

Zadar spreads along a low shore between the Adriatic and the Ravni Kotari fields, and each district behaves differently. The pedestrian Old Town holds the landmarks and the crowds; Kolovare, just below the walls, is where the city swims; Borik and Puntamika to the north west carry the resort hotels, the campsite and the family beaches; Gazenica runs the ferries and the cruise quay; and Nin sits half an hour north west with salt pans and three kilometres of sand. Each place below links to the restaurants, accommodation, tours and services within it.
