These are working boats on public timetables rather than excursions, which is exactly what makes them useful.

A foot passenger can cross to Ugljan in about twenty minutes and be back the same afternoon for a few euros. Taking a car costs more and needs earlier arrival in summer, when the queue for the ramp forms well before departure. Timetables change between the summer and winter seasons, and a strong bura can cancel a sailing outright.
