Whatever the ranking, four decades at one address is rare in a town where restaurants turn over with the seasons.

The kitchen is the Dalmatian konoba canon: grilled fish and squid, lamb and octopus under the peka lid, brodet, and the house wine and rakija that go with them. Menus are published in English as well as Croatian.
